💃✨ Join a Sanura Dance Performance Team This Autumn!

Do you want to push your dancing, connect with an amazing queer crew, and shine on stage (or just in the studio)?

Then our Performance Teams are for you.

This autumn, we’re launching the next cycle of our Salsa Performance Team — and we’re exploring interest for a Bachata Performance Team too.

Whether you’ve danced with Sanura before or you’re new to our community, if you’re ready to level up, challenge yourself, and have fun doing it — this is your invitation.

🌟 What is a Performance Team?

A Performance Team is a small group of dancers who train together weekly to learn and rehearse a choreographed routine. It’s not just about learning steps — it’s about:

🔥 Building confidence and presence

🎵 Deepening musicality and body awareness

💃 Working on styling, technique and partner connection

✨ Training memory, precision and flow

🎭 Exploring stage presence and expression

💛 Connecting with a team of lovely humans who lift each other up

There will be a chance to perform at community showcases, Sanura socials or other events — but performing is not mandatory. You’re welcome to join even if your goal is to train hard and grow — and skip the stage bit if that’s not your vibe!

👣 Format & Structure

Duration: 15 weeks
Start date: 30 January 2026
Schedule:
- - Salsa Team: Wednesdays, 6.30 – 7.30PM (with Kasia)
Locations: Tooting Bec & Old Street
Level: Open-level, but best suited for people with at least some experience dancing either lead or follow. You don’t have to be “advanced” — just motivated and consistent.

FLINTA, Feminist & LGBTQ+ dancers who want to train in an inclusive and non-intimidating space
Anyone excited to dive into choreo and team energy
Folks who enjoy learning through repetition and structure
People ready to show up weekly, support each other, and work towards a shared creative goal

You don’t need stage experience. You don’t need to be a certain body type, age, or gender. You just need the desire to dance and the willingness to commit to the team ❤️
